Portugal’s Gazelle Wind Power, a developer of floating wind platforms, has formed a strategic partnership with Blue Aspirations, a Chinese company known for its floating LiDAR and seabed monitoring technology. According to Blue Aspirations’ press release dated October 30, the partnership will combine the company’s advanced data and monitoring technologies with Gazelle’s next-generation floating platform design. This integration is expected to produce smart, scalable solutions that can enhance energy generation from deep-water wind resources.
As part of the deal, the two companies will work together to create LiDAR systems designed for floating wind projects.
