Background

Fresh off its Aberdeen launch, 3 Bravo Technology is chasing £1 million in revenue within 18 months, driven by a growing appetite for outsourced IT services from smaller firms.

The company is led by managing director Bruce Buchan, who previously founded IT business Bruhan before selling it to Arrow Business Communications in 2023. After remaining with the company as technical director for more than two years, Buchan decided to return to running his own business.

The new company has also appointed former Aberdeen F.C. goalkeeper Jim Leighton as business development manager. Leighton said the company had built a strong team culture focused on client service and long-term growth. He added that joining the business at an early stage allowed him to help shape its future direction.

Based in Dyce, 3 Bravo Technology provides outsourced IT support for growing businesses and acts as an external technology department for firms looking to expand operations. Buchan said the company aims to support businesses facing technology challenges while maintaining a strong client-first approach.

The company also plans to expand internationally over the next five years while keeping its headquarters in the UK. Buchan said the business would focus on attracting larger clients with international operations as part of its long-term strategy and future growth plans.
