KPMG has announced a global alliance with Anthropic to integrate Claude AI across its business operations and workforce of more than 276,000 employees worldwide.

The partnership aims to improve productivity, strengthen client services and support responsible use of artificial intelligence across the company’s global network.

Under the alliance, KPMG will integrate Claude into its Digital Gateway platform, which is used by employees and clients for tax, legal and advisory work. The company said the platform will allow professionals to build and use AI-powered tools more efficiently.

KPMG plans to first introduce new AI capabilities for tax and legal clients before expanding them to other business areas.

The partnership also includes joint work on cybersecurity and private equity services. KPMG and Anthropic will develop new AI-based products for portfolio companies and help businesses modernize operations through AI-driven systems.

KPMG said the alliance would support faster workflows and reduce the time needed to develop AI tools for clients.
